By registering for a Common Ground Speaks event, attendees consent to providing basic contact information, which may include:

• Full Name

• Email Address

• School Affiliation (if applicable)

This information is collected solely for event-related communication and engagement.

2. Data Usage

Collected information is used exclusively to:

• Send event updates and communications

• Provide logistical information

• Share future event invitations (only if the attendee opts in)

We do not sell, rent, or distribute personal data for marketing purposes.

3. Data Sharing & Protection

We respect the privacy of our attendees and do not share personal data without consent. Exceptions include:

• When legally required (e.g., court order or law enforcement request)

• When an attendee explicitly opts in to share information with a partner organization

Event partners, including host venues, do not have direct access to registration lists. All communications are managed internally by the Common Ground Speaks team.

4. Data Security & Retention

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure. Data is retained only as long as necessary for event-related purposes and is securely maintained.
